Taxes

Eric has a proved record as a Thetford Township Trustee voting NO to increase taxes, even while under political pressure to vote yes.

Education

Eric believes in public education for everyone. Eric is grateful for the No Worker Left Behind Program (a Republican program by George W. Bush) that allowed him at age 29 to attend MCC to discover a new career path. Eric supports policies to keep schools safe. Eric wants to give parents more control over the education of their kids.

Automobile Insurance

Michigan pays the highest insurance rates and has the worst roads in the country. Eric will vote to reduce rates, streamline registration and with 20 years in the construction industry knows how to improve roads.

Criminal Justice System Reform

The criminal justice system is broken and bogged down. Major reform is needed to restore families and focus on the most violent and serious crimes. This includes prison reform, drug crime reform, family court reform, CPS, and 50/50 custody.

Marijuana/Cannabis

Eric supports legalization, patient rights, and safe access. Eric believes ending prohibition of marijuana will save $$, reduce black market drug crime, and restore public trust in law enforcement.

Gun Rights

Eric has a proven track record of standing up for the Second Amendment. Eric has always defended the right to self-defense and personal property rights, including the defense of one’s home. Eric will not vote to ban guns or accessories or restrict right of purchase or sale.
